Storing DNS records in LDAP on CentOS
When one starts hosting its own DNS server (e.g. BIND on Linux), managing DNS records is usually performed by directly editing BIND's zone files (plain textual files). This works well for a few domains, and a single administrator. If the number of domain increases, and there is a need for delegation of the DNS administration tasks, textual files are not longer secure nor userfrendly approach.
